Preparation Guide

Peptide nasal spray reconstitution instructions. Follow each step precisely for optimal results.

Kit Contents Verification

Before starting, ensure you have all components:

  • 1 × 10mg Semax vial (lyophilized powder)
  • 1 × 10mg Selank vial (lyophilized powder)
  • 1 × 10ml Bacteriostatic Water vial
  • 1 × 10ml Empty nasal spray bottle
  • 1 × 5ml Syringe
  • 1 × Blunt fill needle
  • Alcohol prep pads (not included — obtain separately)

Important Safety Notes

CRITICAL: Use bacteriostatic water only — it contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol preservative that prevents bacterial growth in multi-use nasal sprays.

STERILE TECHNIQUE: Clean work surface with disinfectant, wash hands thoroughly, and use sterile technique throughout.

NO SHAKING: Never shake the vials — gentle swirling only to avoid degrading the peptides.

Step-by-Step Reconstitution

Step 1: Preparation

  • Clean workspace: Disinfect your work surface thoroughly.
  • Wash hands: Use soap and water, then dry completely.
  • Layout supplies: Arrange all components on clean surface.
  • Sterilize vials: Wipe rubber stoppers of both peptide vials and bacteriostatic water with alcohol prep pads. Let air dry 30–60 seconds.

Step 2: Prepare Syringe

  • Attach needle: Attach the blunt fill needle to the 5ml syringe.
  • Draw air: Draw air into syringe to the 2.5ml mark.
  • Insert needle: Insert needle into bacteriostatic water vial.
  • Fill syringe: Inject air to prevent vacuum, then draw 2.5ml bacteriostatic water. Remove needle from vial.

Step 3: Reconstitute Semax

  • Insert at angle: Insert needle into Semax vial at an angle, aiming at inside wall.
  • Slow injection: Slowly push plunger to let water trickle down the glass wall — do NOT squirt directly onto powder.
  • Dissolve: Gently swirl the vial in slow circular motion until powder completely dissolves.
  • Transfer: Draw the entire reconstituted solution (~2.5ml) into syringe. Transfer contents to nasal spray bottle.

Step 4: Reconstitute Selank

  • Draw water: Using same syringe, draw another 2.5ml bacteriostatic water.
  • Inject slowly: Inject slowly down the Selank vial wall; avoid foaming.
  • Dissolve: Gently swirl/roll until dissolved. Do not shake vigorously — peptides are delicate.
  • Transfer: Draw entire reconstituted solution into syringe. Add to nasal spray bottle (now containing both peptides).

Step 5: Final Addition

  • Remaining water: Draw remaining 5ml bacteriostatic water into syringe.
  • Add to bottle: Add to nasal spray bottle. Final volume: 10ml total liquid.
  • Mix gently: Gently swirl bottle to mix. Do not shake.

Step 6: Labeling & Storage

  • Label bottle: Date of reconstitution, Contents: "Semax 10mg + Selank 10mg in 10ml", Concentration: "1mg/ml each peptide".
  • Refrigerate: Store at 36–46°F (2–8°C). Protect from light. Do not freeze.
  • Shelf life: Use within 20–30 days after reconstitution.

Troubleshooting

Cloudy solution?
Wait 5–10 minutes, then gently swirl again.
Let vial sit for a few minutes and swirl again.
Consider using bacteriostatic saline instead of standard BAC water for sensitive users.
